The Liberation of Izmir 100th Anniversary

An incredible unity and a sense of belonging to an important historical moment. A massive show in which every guest becomes part of the celebration. Almost 25 minutes long, with over a hundred extras for mass choreography, historical costumes, 360-degree stage, dozens of screens, lighting and sound systems, pyro effects and jets — the tools and numbers don’t matter. It literally was massive.

The hexagon stage with six podiums is a physical manifestation of The Six Arrows ideology written by Atatürk — our set-design representation of a transition from the Ottoman Empire to the Modern Turkish Republic.

And one more craziest fact: over 2mln people were in attendance for the show!
